About the Role
Deloitte is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Automation Test Engineers to join its Quality Engineering team.
The selected candidates will work with developers, business analysts, and senior QA professionals to design, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions. The role involves understanding business requirements, creating test cases, developing automation scripts, performing different types of testing, and identifying and tracking software defects.

Roles and Responsibilities
As an Associate Analyst – Automation Testing, your responsibilities may include:
- Understanding business and functional requirements.
- Preparing test scenarios and test cases.
- Developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Working on web and API application testing.
- Performing functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identifying, logging, tracking, and verifying software defects.

- Preparing test documentation and execution reports.

- 0–2 years of experience.
- Basic knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python.
- Understanding of API testing concepts using Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good debugging skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
Preferred Skills
The following skills will be an added advantage:
- TestNG or JUnit.
